Who are you?
Evil Waldmeister was first founded in 2007 in the 2D world of a game called Dofus. Since then we have travelled through a bunch of different online games, with old friends in tow and making new ones on the way.
We've been playing on Piken Square since the GW2 Beta and love our home!

What is that name all about?
Waldmeister is the german word for "woodruff", but it's also a pun. Literally it means "master(s) of the forest". No, we don't take ourselves too seriously.

And the guild?
We are a relaxed bunch of casual players who put high emphasis on togetherness and friendly spirit.

Ideally our members are 20+ years of age to ensure a mature environment (some of us happen to be a lot older). As a result, real life in form of families, kids, jobs, studies etc often limits an average Waldmeister's playtime, and that's just fine! No minimum attendance required, we understand the game as a game.

What we do insist on however is a positive attitude, because most of all we value a good atmosphere where people feel at home, and where it is ok to make mistakes. What counts is the person behind the screen, not their experience or playing skills.
The "weakest links in the chain" should always set the pace in group activities, so that noone gets left behind or feels uncomfortable. Help each other and share the love! <3

What is your main focus in GuildWars2?

Structured PvP - we love our tPvP, and lack of experience is not a valid reason for staying away! ^^
PvP Thursday takes place every week at 22:00 CET and everybody is welcome to join.

WvW - has become another favourite thing to do for many guildies. You usually find us on the Borderlands maps in the late evening, preferrably Piken homeground. We'd love for some more bloodthirsty people to strengthen our ranks there, at the moment we are usually 5-12 on the battlefield.

PvE - is not our strong side anymore, but groups for dungeons can usually be arranged when needed or requested. Also the carebears among us would probably be very happy about some more PvE-interested members. ;)

How do I join?
Send us an application and we will get back to you as soon as possible! We don't mind anyone being a member of several guilds at the same time (hurray multi-guild feature) and hope to win your heart over by our sheer awesomeness instead.
